Oh. My. Gawd.

Everything Hurts.

Everything reaaaaaaaaaally hurts.

We did stocktaking at work today.

I've decided, i hate stocktaking. I mean, whats the point! What do we gain from this excersise, rather than a serious back ache, sore abs, and numb feet?????

I ask you!!

I've been counting metal all day... When I say i've been counting metal, I stood around for 3 hours, and looked at it, moving it from one pile to the other thinking...

"Holy shit, i know not what i am doing!"

Eventually, i felt so rotten, i went up into the office and said

"Can you give me something else to do, theres a thousand odd peices of metal down there, all which are different slightly, and not one of them appears to be on the stocktake sheet i have here. I feel very confused, and i'm wasting everyones time"

"Hmm, you're probably right, heres a tape measure, go and stocktake the reveals"

For all you non buildery people out there, reveals, are the wooden frames that go around a door or window. Now that, was a job i could do, and you know the strange thing was, the second i got down there, in jeans and t's, absolutely filthy from the dust, the factory workers, immediately treated me differently.... it was increadible, like, i was one of them.

Huh!

Anyway, after stocktaking reveals, it was onto window parts... do you know how long it takes to stocktake window screws?

Ages.

Eventually we cheated, picking up a handful of screws, counting how many were in a handful, then just estimating the total on how many handfuls were in the box.

*sobs of dispair*

Anyway, i'm going to soak in a nice hot bath, don't plan on getting out till tomorrow.. teehee.

Then i'm getting my hair cut tomorrow!!!
