A very weak argument

I was watching TV tonight, and this segment came on the TV about some Gay and Lesbian rights activist march overseas, promoting more respect and understanding for the Gay and Lesbian community.

Now, don't get me wrong, i have many gay and lesbian friends, I myself am straight, but i have nothing against gays or lesbians.

But, the thing that struck me on this segment, was, as the newsreader is going on about "... promoting more respect for the gay and lesbian community...", three crossdressers flashed up on the the screen, wearing a silver nylon space suit, with breasts the size of soccerballs, massive tiara's and halloween face makeup.

These people want respect??

Dressed like that???

Are you fucking joking?

There was something else i was going to have a rant about.. and i've forgotten what it is. Bugger. I hate it when that happens.
